Introduction to SDGs Activities
-
Participation in the SpoGOMI Kahoku cho Environmental Fair
We participated in a competition where teams collected trash along the roads near the Kahoku Town Hall and competed for points (with two teams). Thanks to excellent teamwork and hard work in the heat condition, we achieved 1st and 3rd place out of 13 teams. It was a refreshing and pleasant experience. (2023)
-
Participation in the Zao Clean Operation
Volunteers engaged in beautification activities, such as picking up trash around the Zao Mountain area. Blessed with good weather, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Zao while breathing fresh air and listening to the chirping of birds. It was also a great way to get some exercise and break our usual sedentary routine. (2024)
-
Implementation of Clean-Up Activities Around the Company
As an annual event organized by the SDGs and Environmental Management Committee, we conduct clean-up activities around the company three times a year (spring, summer, and autumn).
-
Participation in the "Yamagata Terraced Rice Field Curry" Project
At the request of Yamagata Prefecture, we utilized our vacuum forming technology to create rice molds for the "Yamagata Terraced Rice Field Curry." Our contribution to the promotion of terraced rice fields was recognized, and we received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as part of the "Connecting Terraced Rice Field Heritage" initiative.
